Heide Park Resort starts the new season on 01 May

Soltau, April 2021 – Northern Germany’s largest amusement park opens its doors to young and old adventurers on May 01, 2021 with a 35-day delay as the first German amusement park this year. „We are hugely excited to be able to offer our guests fun and adventure again and a welcome change from everyday life. We are optimally prepared and have adapted to the situation with our comprehensive hygiene and safety concept. This has already shown in the past season that our guests can expect a safe stay with us. The opening of our resort is bound to conditions. In order to minimize the risk of infection, we have also taken targeted measures this year, some of which have been imposed by the government, such as mandatory masks in the attractions, waiting areas, stores and distance regulations of 1.5 meters. For this reason, we have also adjusted the visitor capacity. It is mandatory for every guest to have a dated online ticket. In this way, we ensure traceability and capacity management. In addition, access for our guests over the age of 6 is only possible with a negative COVID test. Our staff is always available to assist any guest with questions,“ said Sabrina de Carvalho, general manager of the resort. „We are now optimistic about this season. Certainly, visiting a theme park this year will still be different than what we are used to. We urge our visitors to check our website for conditions and changes before coming to us.“

Visitors to Heide Park Resort have the option of either getting tested at ASB’s drive-in testing station in the resort’s bus parking lot (fee required) or bringing a negative test result (PCR or antigen test from a doctor or pharmacy) no older than 24 hours (PCR) or 12 hours (antigen) upon presentation of identification. For guests who can already present a vaccination documentation that has been fully completed for at least 15 days, the testing requirement does not apply. Visitors will only be able to enter the park with a one-day online ticket; there will be no sales at the box office. In addition to the regulatory requirements, the resort offers guests the option of contactless payment and has installed more than 120 sanitizer dispensers in many locations throughout the park.
Heide Park Resort is open daily through Oct. 31
