“Education. Communication. Network.” – these are the three keywords under which the IST University of Management, Claudia Göhnermeier with her specialist agency for communication and further education, and MEET GERMANY are bundling their synergies at the BOE International on 19 and 20 January 2022 in Dortmund. The business network will present itself together for the first time at the trade fair for experiential marketing.
Visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to discuss their requirements and ideas from several perspectives and develop solutions in just one visit to the stand. Several decades of experience in the event business provide the “senior level” of advice.
“The joint stand at BOE offers many approaches in terms of content from which both the visitors and we as exhibitors can benefit. Due to the good experiences with joint projects in the past, such as the Forum Event or the Digital Forum, we are looking forward to successfully implementing further cooperation such as the joint trade fair presence,” says Dorothee Schulte, Head of Marketing & Sales, Communication & Business Division of the IST University of Management.
The state-recognised IST University of Management offers industry-specific bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes in Fitness & Health, Sport & Management, Tourism & Hospitality as well as Event, Media, Communication & Business. The innovative knowledge transfer with online lectures, podcasts, web-based training and learning apps allows students maximum freedom. The high digital orientation is also reflected in the DIGITAL FORUM initiated by the university, which is already taking place for the 6th time.
Claudia Göhnermeier, too, can hardly wait to start anew with the BOE 2021: “After such a long absence, seeing familiar faces again and getting to know new ones: I am particularly looking forward to that! And of course to continue the fruitful cooperation with two strong partners like IST University and MEET GERMANY. For new business relations who want to set out together with me to optimise their marketing and communication strategies, I have a multitude of fresh ideas in my luggage!”
Tanja Schramm, CEO of MEET GERMANY, who has already implemented some of her own events with her team during the expiring Corona pandemic, also sees new potential in the first major trade fair appearance after a long time: “We are eagerly looking forward to the big, traditional industry meeting in January at the BOE, because we can meet many network partners and industry colleagues there beyond our SUMMITs. In addition to our networking task, we are also happy to be a competent contact for the new generation of the industry and connect youngsters and experienced people with each other here at an early stage.”
In the future, MEET GERMANY wants to address and promote young professionals in a more targeted manner. With its collective presence at the trade fair, the largest network of the MICE industry in the German-speaking region is continuing its successful cooperation with IST University. The first joint FORUM EVENT in 2021 had very positive feedback. In addition, MEET GERMANY also has a close cooperation with BOE INTERNATIONAL since this year. The team of the trade fair will accompany the SUMMITs nationwide in 2021, among other things. I am also looking forward to working with the experienced trade journalist and communications expert Claudia Göhnermeier and her agency CG Marketing.”
The BOE INTERNATIONAL will take place from 19 to 20 January in the Dortmund exhibition halls. The joint stand of the new business network is located in Hall 7 directly next to the DIGITAL FORUM, which has already set standards in the industry with its broad range of topics. Attendance at the numerous impulse lectures is free of charge and can be done en passant, so to speak, without registration. In view of the changed framework conditions due to Corona, the numerous expert lectures at the upcoming DIGITAL FORUM can offer real assistance for contemporary communication work more than ever.

The IST University of Management is known for its industry-specific distance learning programmes with recognised academic degrees. These include Bachelor’s degree programmes that are suitable for school leavers as well as young professionals. There are also Master’s programmes for the next step in your career.
