MEET GERMANY SUMMIT on tour through the Rhine-Main region

On 17 and 18 November 2021, the meeting place for event planners and event service providers is called MEET GERMANY SUMMIT RHEIN-MAIN. The focus will be on the event destinations Frankfurt and Darmstadt.

The third edition of the MEET GERMANY SUMMITs will also revolve around the theme “The (R)Evolution of Business: People, Planet & Technology”: the FORUM will take place on 17 November in the Raumfabrik Frankfurt, newly opened in 2019, provide information on current industry trends and present providers and destinations. Formats such as “disruptive fishbowl” convey the experts’ content in an entertaining way. Furthermore, interactive networking and 1:1 formats, e.g. speed geeking, specifically promote the exchange between planners and suppliers.

Green tech is the focus of the FORUM. Jürgen May and Clemens Arnold from 2bdifferent will discuss with the community whether digital events are more sustainable than live events. Tanja Knecht, Brand Ambassador of the IMEX Group, will also join the discussion. Under the question “Why should we not only care about nature right now, but learn from it?” she will present selected projects of the IMEX Group and explain why “NATURE” is the focus of her work as the theme of the year. She also discusses the anniversary of IMEX AMERICA. The trade fair is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year.

Guests will be treated to culinary delights by FLOW THE KITCHEN. Managing Director Daniel Wittstock says: “For us, sustainable catering means much more than just offering regional and seasonal products. We act consciously and take responsibility for our environment. We are already looking forward to serving our catering to the trade visitors of MEET GERMANY, to welcoming them for business breakfast and/or lunch.”

The TOUR showcases exceptional regional event venues. On the first day, planners will discover the event scene in Mainhattan, including the newly opened Ruby Louise Hotel – a New Girl in Town. “Elegance vs. Street Art” is the design motto, the spectacular virtual reality attraction TimeRide as well as the exclusive FRALounge, which can now be used for events, presented by the Fraport Conference Center and host location for NIGHT. On the second day, special locations in Frankfurt/Main and Darmstadt will be presented, such as the darmstadtium or L’Orangerie. The SUMMIT will end at the greet Hotel Darmstadt. The new ECO lifestyle brand greet of the Accor Hotel Group is currently celebrating its premiere in Germany.

At NIGHT and CLOSING, the evening events, people will network in the regional ‘Special Event Locations’ and “review” the day.

“Frankfurt is an internationally renowned financial and stock exchange city, easily accessible for business travellers and an attractive and popular meeting place for planners and business networks. This is also reflected in our SUMMIT: ⅓ of our exhibitors are international, and for the first time a destination from the United Arab Emirates will also be presenting itself with Ras Al Khaimah. With Global Mobility, we were able to gain a globally active mobility partner. We will also learn more about the importance of international flair and business at first hand at and from Fraport, a location partner in Frankfurt,” says Marco Seitelmann, Head of Community at MEET GERMANY.
